Processing Personal Information & Data Protection Notice

By continuing to browse or use shiftr.co.za (the “Website”) you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and the Website Terms & Conditions.
If you submit information via the Website, you expressly agree that it may be collected, processed, stored, used, and disclosed as set out below. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Website.


1  |  Introduction

1.1  This Privacy Policy explains how SUSTAINABLE CURATORS (Pty) Ltd t/a Shiftr (referred to as “Shiftr”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you engage with our professional and advisory services, digital resources, or related content (collectively, the “Services”).

1.2  The Policy must be read together with the Website Terms & Conditions. Where definitions overlap, the Terms prevail unless specifically re-defined below.

3.1  We process Personal Information on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of a contract – to deliver the Services you request.

  • Legal obligation – to comply with South African or international law.
     
  • Consent – where we ask your permission for a specific purpose (e.g. newsletters).
     

3.2  You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing izak@shiftr.store. Withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out.

By using the Website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) or that you are a guardian consenting for a minor dependent.

5.1  Information you give us – for example when you:

  • complete a contact or lead-gen form;

  • correspond with us.

Our Website may include links to external sites or integrate third-party widgets. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing Personal Information.


13  |  “Do Not Track”

The Website currently does not respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes acceptance.


15  |  Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
